Site and Directions
The Site
The Grand Ball will take place at the the Brookline Auction Gallery in Brookline, NH.
This is a lovely hall with cream-colored walls and a parquet floor,
about 60' x 60'. The lighting
in the pictures below shows bright fluorescents, but dimmer (more appropriate) ceiling lights are
also available,
and will be used at the Ball.
There will be a ladies' changing room upstairs. This room (the hall office) is large and open (although
the ceiling is a bit low).
There will be a clothing rack in the middle of the room to hang garment bags,
and two full-length mirrors, along with chairs and a table or two around the walls for laying out accoutrements.
Apologies to the men - there is only one reasonable room available for changing, which has been allotted
to the ladies. The men will have to change in the men's room, if they need to change.
A Note to Parents
This is a formal evening event. There is no special place in this hall for
young ladies and gentlemen to retire should they not be able to maintain formal manners.
Space can be made in the ladies' changing room, but there is unfortunately no separate room available.

Below are some pictures of the undecorated hall. We will be decorating the hall with curtain hangings and table drapes;
we are aiming for the look of an elegant ballroom in an 18th century mansion.
